As most of you know, as well as running our busy photography studio we also run a training school for all sorts of photography and editing. Well this week we had a boudoir workshop, I had mentioned in an earlier post that we were working with a couple of new models because of this,

Well here are a few photos that we took during our day with Amy and Nicola,  Sue & I spend most of the day taking and training so dont take too many images but I hope you love the few we did take. You can see some that our client took over on our training website.

I was not sure wether to post Hayleys maternity photos here on our  boudoir blog or on our main wedding and portrait blog so I decided to do both  She looked so beautiful I thought you should all see her.  Hayley was one of our 2005 Brides and we see her often to photograph her daughter Daisy but this was her first bump shot. This was taken in our studio with just a modeling light and no flash,  Our Nikons allowed us to shoot at 3200 ISO and still get beautiful files, I am pleased to say that Hayley and Matt have ordered the black and white version for there “boudoir”.

Although we market our Boudoir photography as a once in the lifetime experience Natalie loved her first shoot so much that she called and booked another, her excuse was, she was going on a cruise and had just had her hair and nails done so “why not”.  Well who are we to argue !

It was a perfect time for Sue & I to try out some new lighting ideas including our video light as well as some continuous studio lights and together with our usual lighting it made for some beautiful and dramatically lit images, we plan to update Natalies gallery on our website soon.

Our last boudoir of the week was Nicola, she travelled a long way to see us and she was not disappointed, we took some fabulous photos of her which I am sure she will be delighted with.  We had a great afternoon working with her and trying out a few new poses which were great.

We have spoken to Amy before and decided that she would be perfect for our workshops, in fact we had booked her in before arranging a test shoot, she is an amazing lady and loves the camera. We are both looking forward to working with Amy again later this month.
