Where will my session take place?
In our purpose built studio in Southampton, which is ideally, situated between the south’s 2 main Motorways as well as a local airport and train station. We have a changing room and a makeup room in which you will feel totally secure and relaxed whilst preparing for your exciting experience.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes of course you can. Its always nice to have a friend along to help with your outfit choices. We also offer a discount if you and a friend want to shoot on the same day which can also be great fun for you both.
How long will my shoot take?
Although we do not restrict the time allowed for these shots, they normally last around 3 to 4 hours by the time you have been made up and had a few changes of outfit. We also like to stop to review what we are getting over a coffee which will also help build your confidence once you see how fabulous you look.
Do you supply a makeup artist?
Yes we do, we work with several makeup artists and in fact our most requested is also a Boudoir client of ours. All of our Boudoir packages include a makeup artist. Its our job to bring out the very best of you and to achieve that we use soft but directional lighting and a good makeup artist will enhance this.
I am not a model and dont know how to pose?
We will firstly help you relax and then help you with the poses required to bring out the best in you. None of our girls here on our website are professional models, in fact Michelle is our makeup artist.
Does it matter how old I am?
Not at all, as long as you are over 18 years old we are happy to arrange a shoot, anyone who looks under 21 will be asked for ID.
How long does it take to get the photographs?
Your photographs will be ready to view within 2 weeks of your shoot, normally a lot quicker. We would like you to come along to our designer viewing room to see your portraits for the first time, its nice to invite your partner along to this unless of course its a surprise for him/her.
Depending on what package you chose your finished products will normally be available in 14 to 21 days although at busy times such as Christmas and Valentines day it is wise to allow a little extra time.
Will you retouch my photographs?
Proof images receive basic retouching. But any orders for prints, albums, and any products will be personally retouched to your requirements before printing.
How many outfits and what sorts should I bring?
We encourage you to bring several outfits that you love. To give it a personal touch, you can bring one of his shirts and ties or a Football or Rugby shirt would look great. Corsets are a great choice as are stockings and heels. Jackets and coats are also useful but everything depends on you and your personality and comfort levels.
Will my images be shown on your website?
We like to use a couple of discreet photographs on our blogsite but only if you are happy to do so, quite often these shoots are a surprise for your partner so we cannot use them. We only use photographs if we have your written consent.
How and when do I pay?
Depending on the package you choose there is a booking fee to pay and the balance is due on the day of the shoot or on ordering your products, We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash and cheque.
How & when can I schedule an appointment?
Our boudoir portraits can be shot during the week and weekends by appointment, based upon availability. Evening sessions are also available and very popular. Sue & I like to chat with you before your shoot to go over exactly what you can expect on the day as well as to enable us to get your opinions and ideas, you are welcome to call in first but as many of our clients travel to see us a phone call is fine.
